Flexeril is a muscle relaxer that is recommended for the treatment of fibromyalgia. Flexeril was first approved in 1977 and manufactured by Merck and Co., Inc., in 10 mg form, with the product being distributed by McNeil Consumer & Specialty Pharmaceuticals. When used in conjunction with rest and physical therapy, flexeril can be helpful for fibromyalgia patients and other people who suffer from muscle ailments.
